An Open FPGA makes a high-level of custom image processing possible. The image output is selectable between grabbed or pre-processed image. 

The XCI series employ high-resolution, progressive scan interlines transfer monochrome CCD sensors from Sony Semiconductor.

    The XCI-SX100 provides excellent monochrome picture quality (SXGA, 1280 x 960 pixels) and captures video at 30 frames per second. It is perfect for applications that require high-speed image capture.

    This smart camera has integrated some key features for the best hardware performance:

  • Sony CCD sensor

  • X86 compatible CPU (1 GHz) and 512MB DDR2 SDRAM

  • FPGA customizable for hardware processing

  • Microsoft Windows® XP Embedded Support

  • Various interfaces

    This B&W SXGA smart camera get some serious advantages:

  • - easy and direct monitor output

  • - High speed network connectivity

  • - 2 USB 2.0 ports allow users to control the camera via a mouse and/or keyboard

  • - A few digital Input/output and RS-232C allow cameras to connect with external equipment, such as sensors, strobe lights and programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).

  • Security specifications

    XCI-SX100 supports CS mount lens and these following functions are available:

  • - Auto Iris control (interesting for a wide range of security application)
