The MA-400 is a newly designed Base Station to connect the HC-400/400W, the HL-45/ HL-45W camera and the VF5045W 5" viewfiner by a 19-core (26pin) camera cable so that the camera can be operated at distance of up to 300 meters. Optional SDI(D1) output and QTV functions are available. This unit allows to use the camera in a studio or a field or as a monitoring camera, widening the range of applications.

Camera cable length up to 300m
This unit can be extended up to 300 meters in spite of using a slender camera cable (12ø).
Fully Remote Control Functions
Besides that you can call a scene file by a switch on the front panel, most of fuctions in the HC-400/400W, HL-45/45W cameras can be remotely controlled.

Variey of Remote Control Units available
RM-11, RM-45, OCP-45, RM-50 etc are optionally available on the purpose of your applications.

Wide Range Video Transmission
A video signal from the camera will be maintained as the wide range and transmitted to this unit so that the video signals (VBS, RGB, Component) from this unit may be obtained at the high quality.

Cable Compensating Circuit
In addition that the transmission loss of high frequency component and the lowered level due to the camera cable can be compensated, both a RET video and a QTV signal from this unit to the camera can be cable-compensated.

2-channels RET Video
Two(2) channels of the return videos available.

Intercom System
It meets with 2-wires, 4-wires or RTS. A headset provided with a popular XLR type connector.

Optional QTV Function
By connecting a monitor (12V, max 60W) to the camera, the prompter video can be displayed. In this application, maximum camera cable length is 100 meters.

Optional SDI (D1) Output
Two(2) systems of the compenent digital signals that meet with SMPTE 125M/259M, can be outputted from this unit. (Item #: SDI-400)
